Scottish Liberal Democrat regional list candidates

Scottish Liberal Democrat regional list candidates

The Scottish Liberal Democrats have opted for a more streamlined approach to their regional lists, with only three candidates standing in many regions, and only two in the Highlands and Islands and Central Scotland. It is understood the list will be finalised in March, with perhaps more names being added.

Of the existing MSPs, leader Willie Rennie and health spokesman Jim Hume top the lists in their regions, but Justice spokeswoman and party business manager Alison McInnes drops to second in the North East list behind former MSP Mike Rumbles.

Orkney and Shetland constituency MSPs Tavish Scott and Liam McArthur have no place on the lists.
