Shortlist announced for Scottish Public Service Awards 2022

Shortlist announced for Scottish Public Service Awards 2022

Organisations providing advice and support to victims of sexual assault, people with drug and alcohol addiction, and those affected by the cost-of-living crisis are among the shortlist for this year’s Scottish Public Service Awards.

Now in its ninth year, the awards celebrate the daily contribution made to civic society from within the civil service, Scottish Parliament, local government and third sector.

Among those shortlisted are the Scottish Drug’s Forum How to Save a Life campaign and Citizens Advice Scotland’s SSEN Energy Advice Project.

The original list of nominees was whittled down to a shortlist which will be considered by a panel of judges which includes Holyrood managing editor Mandy Rhodes, Auditor General Stephen Boyle and Sally Loudon, the chief executive of Cosla.

Co-hosted by Presiding Officer Alison Johnstone and Deputy First Minister John Swinney, the awards take place on 7 December in Edinburgh.
