What does your role involve?

Responsibility for the strategy, business planning, development, governance and BAU of the SEEMiS Group that delivers IT solutions to all local authority schools and nurseries in Scotland. This is a unique organisation offering a shared service on hosted platforms to its 32 member councils.

Also continuing to raise the profile of SEEMiS and its recovery.

What has been the most rewarding piece of work you've undertaken?

Recovering this organisation from the potential brink of disaster and stabilising it with governance and good processes, proving that all the years of experience were still able to deliver a good outcome.

Navigation apps – I have no sense of direction!

A good cross public sector solution that embraces smart technology and makes a difference to citizens.
