Name: Paddy

Breed: Border Collie

Age:  7

How long have you had him?

Six and a bit years.

Where did you get him?

A rescue centre.

Any special talents?

He actually talks to you.

What’s the worst thing he’s done?

He ate a full box of Liquorice Allsorts. The long-term outcome was disgusting…

Can you remember the first pet you had?

It was a border collie called Timmy. Yes, I was a Famous Five fan…

Are you a pet owner or a pet parent?

A parent. He’s my boy.

What’s the most ridiculous thing you’ve done for a pet?

I do treat him like my child. When I’ve had a long, busy day he snuggles up with me. I hug him and talk to him as if he is my baby. Writing this down make me sound pathetic!

If you could have any animal as a pet what would it be?

A tiger.
