In September 2020, Shelter Scotland launched its Social Housing Campaign, calling on the Scottish Government to commit to building a minimum of 37,100 homes for social rent over the next 5 years (2021 – 2026). This is the number of homes required to begin to reduce housing need in Scotland, transform the lives of thousands of people and support Scotland’s economic recovery.

This two hour webinar, held in partnership with Shelter Scotland, was an opportunity to explore the future of social housing, including broadening its access to be a tenure of choice and how this sits within the implementation of the Scottish Government’s Housing to 2040 strategy.
