Scottish Federation of Housing Associations
The Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA) is the national representative body for Scotland’s housing associations and co-operatives which provide housing for over 250,000 households.
The SFHA exists to support the work of housing associations and co-operatives through positive influence on government policy and promotion of the work of its members.
Housing associations and co-operatives are more than landlords, providing care and support to their tenants. They undertake regeneration activity and cater for specialist housing needs.
The SFHA’s members own or manage rented housing and develop affordable housing for rent or for part-ownership using public and private finance.
The SFHA represents the sector’s views to government and provides information and good practice advice to its members.
