The Royal Society of Edinburgh
The Royal Society of Edinburgh (RSE) is Scotland’s National Academy of Science and Letters. Its Fellowship comprises people who have achieved excellence in their profession in science, the arts, humanities, business or public administration. The RSE provides Advice Papers to the Scottish Government and Parliament. The Society also delivers programmes that support research, enterprise, education and public engagement. The President is the astrophysicist Professor Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell.
