Connect Tech 100 launched

A list of the top 100 players leading Scotland’s digital transformation has been launched today.

Over the next 20 weeks, Connect will provide interviews and Q&A with those who feature in our annual Tech 100, which is being done in association with Gamma.

A new name will be revealed each day as we offer an insight into what they are working on and the challenges they envisage.

First up is Steve Watt, chief information officer at the University of St Andrews, who discusses the transformation the institution has undergone and the constant cyber security threat.

The Tech 100 list is not comprehensive and strictly not scientific, instead a snapshot of people in each sector.

But it gives an insight into how strategically important technology is now in learning, in public service delivery and in growing the Scottish economy.
