Women and COVID: Tackling Economic Inequality Through Recovery

5 March 2021 | 10:00 - 15:00

Women have borne the brunt of COVID-19’s devastating economic impact, as the pandemic has exacerbated existing inequalities in the labour market, such as unpaid care and domestic work.

At this event we discussed how equality can be placed at the heart of our economic recovery - through investment in a care economy; improved gender mainstreaming; and breaking down barriers to certain professions.
