Skills and Apprenticeships: Preparing Scotland’s Young Workforce

27 January 2021 | 10:00 - 15:00

In light of the Scottish Government’s plans to deliver a Youth Guarantee - which includes additional funding for DYW - this event will provide a timely opportunity for stakeholders to discuss the practicalities and priorities for supporting and preparing our young people for the labour market.

Sessions will consider how careers advice can be improved; business and educational partnerships can be strengthened; and how opportunities for young people can be developed with appropriate consideration given to economic and environmental priorities.
