Climate Emergency Series: Decarbonising Scotland

26 January 2021 | 09:40 - 15:00

Sponsored by

Following our kick-off event on the Green Recovery to our Climate Emergency series in the lead-up to COP26 in Glasgow, in November 2021, and the Scottish Government’s (forthcoming/recent) publication of their Updated Climate Change Plan, Holyrood Events will take a sectoral focus on how we bridge the implementation gap and put this into practice as we decarbonize Scotland.

Particularly in this moment, where there is the determination to Build Back Better, and implement a Green Recovery, there is a clear need to understand how we decarbonize our country for this and our strategic net-zero objectives.

There will be a policy outlook but also an array of speakers talking about practical application of it and best practice for Scotland to learn from and follow.

The wide range of speakers, combined with a varied selection of workshops, means that everyone will find something that is relevant to their organisation's needs, and the broad appeal of the agenda provides a great mix of people for networking and sharing ideas across sectors.
