Cloud Services In The Public Sector

Cloud is a major element of the Scottish Government’s digital strategy due to its potential to reduce costs and improve data sharing. To that end the Scottish Government is due to release a new Cloud Services Framework this summer, to run til 2021. However, while cloud has incredible potential its implementation can be challenging, encompassing as it does software as a service, platform as a service and infrastructure as a service.

So how can you overcome these challenges and ensure a smooth transition to cloud within your organisation?

Holyrood Connect’s Cloud Services in the Public Sector Conference will provide an unprecedented opportunity to gain a clear understanding of how your organisation can manage an effective transition to cloud services.

You’ll have the chance to hear practical examples of good practice delivered by thought leaders from across the United Kingdom, plus you’ll have the chance to meet and network with colleagues from across the public sector as part of our high-energy interactive sessions.

The conference also provides a forum to hear from innovative technology suppliers who will be on hand to answer your questions and to guide you through a host of products that can improve the use of cloud services within your organisation.
