Salary £12,500 – 15,500 (dependant on experience)
As Scotland’s leading policy conference and events organisers we are looking for an experienced, self motivated individual with a passion for detail to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will have excellent inter-personal skills, a confident approach, have experience of dealing with members of the public and be fully conversant with the latest office technology.
You should be able to demonstrate:
- A professional approach
- Excellent organisational and customer service skills
- Quick and accurate database entry
- A passion for detail
- A professional approach
- Good people skills
- A good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- The ability to mail merge letters, lists and labels
- Internal and external communication skills
- A pleasant telephone manner
- The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling delegate enquiries by telephone and email
- Entering all required delegate details into a conference register
- Acknowledging all bookings by email
- Issuing joining instructions to each delegate, speaker and sponsor
- Preparing conference material
- Filing
- General office administration
The position is Edinburgh based but some travel may be required.
