Stephen calls for parties to back key Lib Dem policies |

Liberal Democrat leader Nicol Stephen has challenged Scotland’s other party leaders to back the key Liberal Democrat policies of 100 per cent renewable electricity, an hour per day of physical activity for every child and 100 new local health centres, ahead of the Holyrood election vote tomorrow.
Stephen said: “At the start of this election I pledged to campaign
positively on the issues that matter to people and families. Every day,
while Labour and the SNP have been fighting and name-calling, the
Liberal Democrats have been setting out our proposals for a bright
future for Scotland.
“Everything we hear from the doorsteps has shown people turning to the
Liberal Democrats. Our determination is strong, our support growing,
our momentum gathering.
“If you really want change, if you really want positive policies that
make a difference to families and children, there is only one positive
choice.”
He added: “If you want Scotland to be one of the best places in the world to bring up children, move to the Liberal Democrats.
“If you want more local health care, with extra dentists and nurses, move to the Liberal Democrats.
“If you want a renewable energy revolution in Scotland for clean, green electricity, move to the Liberal Democrats."
