Holyrood magazine has been shortlisted in a record number of categories in the prestigious annual PPA magazine awards.

PPA Scotland received 143 entries from 35 publishing companies in this year’s awards and Holyrood magazine has been shortlisted in four categories; on-line presence, feature writer of the year, columnist of the year and editor of the year.

This is the third year running that Holyrood has been recognised by its peers in the industry with journalists Katie Mackintosh and Richard Johnstone both being shortlised in the Feature Writer of the Year category. Holyrood magazine editor, Mandy Rhodes, has been shortlisted in Feature Writer of the Year, Columnist of the Year and Editor of the Year.

The final awards will be announced and presented at a ceremony on November 27th.
