Beano celebrates 70th birthday Print E-mail

The 70th anniversary of The Beano is to be marked by an exhibition showcasing the Scottish comic through the years, the University of Dundee announced today.

The free exhibition, which will run from 30th July until 20th September 2008 in Dundee’ Lamb Gallery, will include original artwork from the Beano from the very first edition up to the present day. The University will also host a special birthday event on the 30th of July featuring free talks by comics experts and Beano artists.
