New appointments to SEPA board Print E-mail
Friday, 25 January 2008

Minister for Environment Michael Russell today confirmed the appointment of two new board members for the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA).

Bob Downes, director of Openreach Scotland and part of the BT Group, and Julie Sturrocks, a Dundee councillor since 1998, have been appointed to the SEPA board for four years, running 1 January 2008 to 31 December 2011.

Russell said he was “delighted” to announce the appointments, adding, "I am sure both Bob and Julie with their wide ranging experience in business and local government and their knowledge of  environment issues will make a valuable contribution to the SEPA Board as it embraces the new challenges of the future."
