Two thirds of Scots call for greater farming support Print E-mail
Monday, 16 April 2007

Two thirds of Scots agree that Scottish farming needs to be better supported by the Executive as more farmers move towards retirement age. In the latest Holyrood 2007 poll result, 66 per cent of voters said that they agreed with such support because it is environmentally important not to rely on food imports, while 34 per cent said that it should be left to the market to decide.
