Page 2 of 2 7. SEPA staff call for vote of no confidence in management Spirit_of_Iona, Unregistered The Union should ask itself one question Why did it encourage members to sign up and agree a Job match when the salary grading for those matches wasn't negotiated. The turkeys voted for their own Christmas and as such if the CMT are bad the union are worse. Lets's talk to Ronnie Real here what action will the union take.. Strike action.. yeh right! In the current financial situation when mortgage payments are in the minds of their members they'll bottle it. All the union has done is to delay yet another pay award beyond another Christmas Thanks boys and girls...for acheiving diddley squat! 8. SEPA staff call for vote of no confidence in management Spirit_Of_Iona, Unregistered Further to my last comment: The No confidence vote by by Unison was not 93% of Staff it was 93% of the 65% or so of Unison members who voted, secondly following the leaking by Unison of confidential papers relating to the negotiations to selective staff members (finally to filter to the general work force) changes were then made to the scheme lowering the amount that green zone staff (the poorest paid)would receive.
As I remain neutral I feel that the CMT should look at the fact that some employeees have calculated that they are due to receive up to £6000* pre tax in back pay. The size of the backdated payments does seem 'embarassing' and 'divisory' given that other staff are red-circled. (* This equates to an increase in £250 pcm over the 24 month negotiation period).
