Scottish Parliament

Since 1999 Holyrood Communications Ltd has been Scotland’s leading political publishing and communications organisation. Our flagship title Holyrood magazine has acquired a reputation for objective, non partisan and authorative reporting of Scottish and UK Government, the Scottish Parliament and Scotland’s Unilateral Local Authorities. Today we stand on the leading edge of information delivery publishing in both print and online platforms.

Holyrood.com contains an abridged version of Holyrood magazine and a full electronic version. In March 2008 we launched jobs.holyrood.com offering a free online search and recruitment advertising service for the public sector, voluntary organizations, and charities.

Holyrood magazine was launched in April 1999 to coincide with the first Scottish Parliamentary election and to advance the coverage of policy and governance in Scotland. Since then we have been assisting elected members, officials and citizens understand and contribute to Scotland’s democratic culture. We react via our leading edge products to Scottish Government and institutions checking on them speedily and with a fair hand.

Holyrood employs thirty full time staff in our offices on Holyrood Road close to the Scottish Parliament and St Andrews House. We hope that you and your organisation will support Holyrood products and find them useful and informative.
