Award winning editor of Holyrood magazine takes on a new role

mandy-newsite-300x167Magazine editor Mandy Rhodes has been appointed managing director of Holyrood Communications.

Holyrood Communications was bought by Dods last December and Rhodes will now take charge of the company’s operations north of the border, as well as continuing to edit the magazine.

She said: “I’m delighted to take on this exciting role, it’s important at this particular time in our political debate that the company continues to have a strong voice based in Scotland.”

Rhodes joined Holyrood nine years ago as editor of its flagship title, having worked for nearly 30 years in journalism in Scotland in newsprint, television and radio broadcasting and was part of the launch team of Scotland on Sunday.
