Holyrood Communications Ltd, Scotland’s foremost political communications company, has an exciting opportunity in its conference development team for a bright, well connected and self-motivated individual who is passionate about politics, political communication and current affairs and can translate that enthusiasm into successful events.

As a potential conference developer with Holyrood magazine’s conference arm, you will probably have at least two or three years experience working in a policy or political environment; in public affairs; the media or perhaps in a public relations consultancy or similar type of organisation. You will have a sound command of all research and monitoring techniques, a working knowledge of UK politics and a varied skill set that allows you to understand the broad range of disciplines required to do the job well. Excellent communications skills are essential for both internal and external relations.
